Relatives of Djamal Djamalov cannot locate him
Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) and the Prosecutor's Office do not provide any information on the whereabouts of Djamal Djamalov, a resident of Kizilyurt, who was detained on suspicion of drug possession. This was reported by relatives of Djamal Djamalov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 20, in Kizilyurt, the car of 43-year-old Djamal Djamalov was clipped by a black crossover, and men in masks came out of it. They took Djamal Djamalov away with them, and they also took his car. According to the Dagestani MIA, Djamal Djamalov was detained by law enforcers on suspicion of drug possession.
"I visited the Prosecutor's Office; however, I was directed to the ICRF's Investigating Department for Dagestan, and from there to the police station in Kizilyurt. I visited a temporary detention facility in Makhachkala. However, all of them say that my brother is not being kept at their places," explained the Djamal Djamalov's brother.
According to him, the relatives have not yet filed a complaint about the Djamal Djamalov's disappearance to the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office.
Djamal Djamalov, according to his brother, "was engaged in a small-scale private business in Kizilyurt." He has three children. "Djamal prays, but he is not a fanatic," Gadji Djamalov has stated.
