Over 7000 residents of Dagestan cannot go abroad because of debts
The number of residents of Dagestan, who have restrictions on their travels abroad, including for the upcoming Hajj, because of their overdue debts, has reduced by more than a third since December 2014.
"To date, the Office for Dagestan of the Russian Federal Service of Court Marshals (RFSCM) has restricted the right to leave Russia for 7182 citizens of Dagestan. According to executive documents, their overall debt exceeds 2.5 billion roubles," said a source from the press service of the above Office of the RFSCM.
According to the source, most of the debtors – 3118 persons – have alimony debts.
Within 11 months of 2014, under the executive documents, initiated on the basis of judicial acts, the right to travel away from the Russian Federation was temporarily restricted for 11,597 persons, whose total debt amounts to 3,307,554,000 roubles.
As reported by the website of the Office for Dagestan of the RFSCM, the restriction on travel abroad is imposed only on those debtors whose debt exceeds 10,000 roubles.
Let us remind you that Muslims of Dagestan failed to buy out 2700 vouchers for the Hajj to Saudi Arabia out of the total quota of 6200.
