ICRF reports killing of Omar Suleimanov in Dagestan
All the four casualties of the special operation in the Untsukul District of Dagestan have been identified. Apart from Magomed Suleimanov, the leader of "Imarat Kavkaz"; Kamil Saidov, the head of "Vilayat Dagestan" and Abdul Abdulaev, Omar Suleimanov was also killed, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 10, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Untsukul District. Today, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) announced the killing of four militants and a wounded Special Troops serviceman. The NAC named the casualties as Magomed Suleimanov, the leader of "Imarat Kavkaz", which has been recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia; and Kamil Saidov, Suleimanov's "right hand" and the leader of Dagestani militants. A law enforcement source has also reported the killing of Abdula Abdulaev.
The website of the Department of the ICRF for Dagestan reports that Omar Suleimanov and Abdula Abdulaev had also been members of the armed underground.
Magomed Suleimanov was the organizer of the murder of Mukhammad Abdulgapurov and Sheikh Sayed of Chirkey, power agents believe. Besides, Suleimanov's militants extorted money from entrepreneurs, brutally cracking down those, who refused to pay tribute, the "Interfax" writes with reference to the NAC.
