Resident of Dagestan Magomed Gaikuev is back home after detention by power agents
Magomed Gaikuev, a resident of the village of Andi, whose whereabouts was not known since August 2, has returned home this morning. According to his relative, Gaikuev told about his detention by power agents and torture with electric current.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the 33-year-old Magomed Gaikuev disappeared on August 2 near the Chechen-Dagestani border.
His return home was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Magomed Magomedov, a Gaikuev's cousin.
According to his story, Magomed Gaikuev "looked very tired and haggard." "He told me that on August 2 he went out onto the road, waiting for some vehicle that could take him home. Two vehicles – an Ural truck and an UAZ van – stopped near him. They were driving in the direction of Chechnya. Three masked men went out, put a bag over Magomed's head and dragged him into the van," said the cousin.
"During the interrogation, my cousin was not beaten (his body has no traces of beatings, bruises or abrasions), but, according to his story, they 'tortured him with electric current'," said Magomed Magomedov.
