CEC of Nagorno-Karabakh: "Free Homeland" Party wins parliamentary elections
According to the preliminary information, at the parliamentary elections in Nagorno-Karabakh, the majority of votes 47.35% have been won by the parliamentary "Free Homeland" Party. In total, according to Srbui Arzumanyan, the Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), five parties won places at the National Assembly.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 3, Nagorno-Karabakh held the voting at the parliamentary elections. The elections were attended by all three parties represented at the Nagorno-Karabakh Parliament and four opposition parties. According to the CEC, the total turnout of the voters reached 70.6%.
According to the CEC of Nagorno-Karabakh, during the voting, the "Free Homeland" Party won 47.35%, or 32,632 votes, the "the Democratic Party of Artsakh" gained 19.1%, or 13,105 votes, and the "Dashnaktsutyun" Party gained 18.81%, or 12,965 votes.
The Central Electoral Commission of Nagorno-Karabakh has also reported that of the opposition parties, a five-percent threshold was overcome by the "Movement-88" Party, which gained 4777 votes, or 6.93%, and the "National Revival" Party, which gained 5.38% or 3709 votes.
Let us remind you that earlier, the OSCE Minsk Group and the United States have announced their refusal to recognize the voting results.
