In case of shooting of family in Gyumri, defendant found mentally sane
As a result of the examination, Russian soldier Valery Permyakov accused of killing the Avetisyan family members in Gyumri has been found mentally sane.
At the request of investigators, Valery Permyakov was subjected to the stationary psychiatric examination in the territory of the military base in Gyumri. The results indicate that while committing the crime, the defendant was fully aware of his actions, the "Interfax" reports with reference to its source.
In general, according to the source, the experts recognized the soldier mentally sane, but revealed that he got some mental problems and disorders.
After such results of the psychiatric examination, the investigators have every reason to file the final version of the charges against Valery Permyakov, approve the indictment and bring the case to the court for consideration, the "Echo of the Caucasus" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the murder in Gyumri raised a wave of protests after an official from the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia said that as a citizen of Russia, Valery Permyakov would not be extradited to the Armenian justice.
