Days of new German pictures in Rostov

A film festival of the best German films of the last years is taking place at the Don State Public Library. This is a project of the German Cultural Center named after Goethe, Moscow. The festival began on November 8 with "Nowhere in Africa", 2002 Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film. On November 9 citizens of Rostov saw much-talked-of "Good-Bye, Lenin!", starring Russian actress Chulpan Khamatova.

On November 11 the audience of the library's cinema hall are to see "The Legends of Rita", and on November 12, the last festival day, - "Buena Vista Social Club". Members of the library's film club "Ars" discuss what they have seen after each performance.
