National Press Club condemns violence against journalists

The National Press Club (NPC) condemns any expression of violence against journalists. The last case, as it is noted in the NPC statement of September 28, is that which happened with editor-in-chief of the Or newspaper Gayane Mukoian. The Nation Press Club expresses its concern about the fact that the legislation "On the Media", which is in circulation now after it was adopted by the National Assembly in violation of the law in the first reading, creates a fertile field for the impunity of violence committers.
