Angelina Jolie personally studies Chechen refugees' condition

On August 21 Angelina Jolie, an American actress, arrived in Russia with an informal visit as a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The purpose of her visit is to get acquainted with the activity of the UNHRC officials in the Northern Caucasus and the condition of the Chechen refugees. The actress is going to visit Nazran (the Republic of Ingushetia) and Vladikavkaz (North Osetia), to visit the camps of inland displaced persons, to meet the UN staff and the officials of regional non-government organizations.

The visit of the actress will last until August 24.
