All Chechen territorial election commissions are taken under twenty-four-hour guarding

Officers of the republican police in Chechnya took all the 20 territorial election commissions under twenty-four-hour guarding. Head of the Chechen interior ministry's press-cutting service Ruslan Atsayev reported it.

According to his words, the order on it was signed by Chechen Interior Minister Alu Alkhanov a day before. "These measures are taken to prevent provocations and possible terrorist acts on the threshold of the Chechen presidential election, scheduled for October 5," stressed Mr. Atsayev. He said that the republican interior ministry would take all divisional election committees under twenty-four-hour guarding in the nearest future.
