Conference of Scandinavian human rights activists on Chechen conflict took place in Oslo on September 22

A conference of Scandinavian human rights activists where a Chechen military conflict was considered took place in Oslo yesterday. Meanwhile, Europeans have not any real instruments of exerting pressure on the expostulating forces.

Board Member of the Human Rights Center "Memorial" Oleg Orlov told about it. According to him, the "Memorial" did not receive an invitation to the conference from Scandinavian human rights activists.
