Court refuses to re-qualify Evloev's death case

The Nazran Court in Ingushetia today has again refused to consider the petition lodged by the family of Magomed Evloev, perished owner of the website "Ingushetia.Ru", demanding to re-qualify the case of the oppositionist's murder to the article of the Criminal Code, which provides punishment for a murder.

"The court has rejected our complaint, since they found that it cannot be considered, since the case on Evloev's murder has already arrived to the court," Radio Liberty quotes Musa Pliev, advocate of the Evloevs, as saying.

The defender does not agree with the court decision and plans to appeal against it at the Supreme Court of Ingushetia. "The decision of the Constitutional Court states directly: this decision is contradictory to the Constitution of Russia and to the principle of access to justice," the "Interfax" quotes his words.
