Armenia completed investigation of incident on Azerbaijan border

Yerevan completed investigation of the incident on the Azerbaijan border which resulted in the failure of the OSCE monitoring held on August 19 on the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijan armed forces. The general staff commander of the Armenian Armed Forces Colonel-General Mikael Arutyunian reported this on Monday.

The investigation revealed that during the monitoring a hunter's shot had rung out on the Armenian territory three kilometers west from the Azerbaijan-Armenian border, reported Arutyunian. "Azerbaijan servicemen disorderly fired back from light artillery", he said. "Meanwhile, the Armenian servicemen did not fire a single shot", added the Colonel-General.
