New Russian OSCE Minsk Group co-chairman is awaited in Baku

The leadership of Azerbaijan assumes that the forthcoming change of the Russian OSCE Minsk Group co-chairman will not affect the process of the Karabah conflict settlement.

"Any Russian representative is already "acquainted to some extent with the kernel of the Karabah conflict, its history and peculiarities", so it will not be difficult for him/her to get into the conflict settlement whereas his/her American or French colleague will need some time for it", said Novruz Mamedov, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Azerbaijan President's machinery.
