Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs assumes possibility of trilateral negotiations with Armenia and Turkey

The Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs Vilayat Guliyev assumed a possibility of arranging a meeting between the heads of the Azerbaijan, Turkish, and Armenian Ministries of Foreign Affairs for discussion of regional problems within the limits of the UN annual session in New-York in September.

?We have no objection to the idea of a trilateral meeting, however, we object to its conversion into goalless discussions. If there are concrete goals, we are ready to discuss them?, the minister told journalists of Tuesday. At the same time he declared that ?all attempts of Armenia to destabilize a situation in Azerbaijan were doomed to failure?.

The minister reminded that the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs had sent an official report to the UN on frequent breaches of the fire cessation state by Armenia. That report was spread as an official document of the organization.

Guliyev also called the appeals of Armenian authorities for the necessity of arranging negotiations between Azerbaijan and the unacknowledged Nagorno-Karabakh Republic ?a prepared and successively played game of the Armenian party?.
