Azerbaijani officer self-blown by a mine

At the explosion of a car on a mine in the Gubadly District, an Azerbaijani military has perished; and the driver was seriously wounded.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 6, the ANAMA demining agency reported 796 unexploded ordnances found at the battlefields in Karabakh.

The mine clearance after the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh can take a year. Clearing the sites of military operations from ammunition is a long and difficult process, Russian political analysts believe.

Sarkhan Mukhtarov, an Azerbaijani officer, was killed by a mine explosion in the vicinity of Gubadly, the "Sputnik-Azerbaijan" has reported.

Let us remind you that on January 1, an Azerbaijani soldier, Vasif Uzeir ogly Magerramov was killed by a mine explosion in the Gubadly District. On the same day, a 39-year-old resident of Azerbaijan, Zabil Babaev, illegally penetrated the non-demined area in the Fizuli District and later died in hospital.
