NKR counts 6000 shots from Azerbaijani side during week

Within the last week, Azerbaijani militaries violated the ceasefire for more than 500 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has informed. According to the MoD, a drone sent by Azerbaijan for reconnaissance was shot down.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the situation on the border of the Tovuz District of Azerbaijan and the Tavush Region of Armenia escalated on July 12. Taking into account the four killed and 20 wounded persons on the Armenian side, in total, 40 people were killed and wounded since the onset of the aggravation on the border. On July 15, both sides reported a decline in escalation, but on July 16, the Azerbaijani MoD announced the resumption of hostilities.

On July 12-18, an increase in the number of ceasefire violations was observed on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the MoD of the NKR has reported.
