Krasnodar residents criticize officials for flooded streets
Today, in Krasnodar, several sections of streets have been flooded after heavy rain, the City Mayoralty reports. Citizens complain to officials about the problem of storm sewerage facilities.
The "Caucasian Knot" reported that on July 21, in Krasnodar, 10 sections of roads and 19 households appeared to be flooded after the heavy rain. Users of social networks mentioned blocked storm sewerage outlets as one of the causes of the flooding. City Mayor Evgeny Pervyshov recognized the need for cleaning the storm sewerage facilities in the city.
This morning, Krasnodar has been affected by the heavy rain. As a result, roads in several streets were flooded, while trams were temporarily stopped in the area of Vishnyakova and Perekhodnaya Streets, the city administration press service reported.
Today, the public account "Krasnodar Movement" in the social network "VKontakte" has posted a video entitled "[Street] Moskovskaya". The record shows a completely flooded roadway where cars are still moving.
"In this area, in the places where there are good storm sewerage facilities, the street is not flooded. That's amazing, isn't it? Well, it should be noted that as a rule, those facilities were made by those who live in houses in this street," answered user Digital Life.
The user also criticized city officials for blocked storm sewerage facilities. "The water is knee-deep, and it does not disappear. Is it not possible to build good storm sewerage facilities?" wrote the social network user.
