NKR counts over 120 shelling attacks within a week

During the week, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire on the troops contact line for more than 120 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by August 10, the NKR counted 65 shelling attacks committed by Azerbaijan during the past week. In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD published its daily counts of ceasefire regime violations by the opponent. On August 17, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 21 shelling attacks.

"On August 11-17, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line separating the armed forces of the Artsakh (the NKR) and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis made about 2300 shots from various calibre small arms at the Armenian positions," the press service of the MoD of the NKR said in the today's message translated by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
