Over 200 NKR families receive payments for birth of fourth child

The "Tashir" Charitable Fund has paid 4000 US dollars to each of the families, in which the fourth child was born in 2018. These payments have affected the increase in the birth rate of fourth children, Samvel Avanesyan, the Minister for Social Matters, Labour and Migration of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in 2016-2018, the "Tashir" Fund initiated the payment of the above USD 4000 for the birth of the fourth child into NKR's families.

On March 27, at the Youth Palace in Stepanakert, the respective certificates were handed over to 201 families. All the families-participants in the project will be able to cash the entire amount of USD 4000 at the "Artsakhbank" in Stepanakert, the NKR's capital, and in the regions, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, who attended the event, reports.

The payments made by the "Tashir" Fund in 2016-2018 stimulated the birth rate of fourth children into Artsakh (NKR's) families, the above Minister Avanesyan, has stated.

According to his story, before the start of this project, the average birth rate of fourth children in country's families was around 150 children a year, whereas since 2016 it has not dropped below 200.
