Two Georgian citizens detained at South-Ossetian border

At the Georgia-South Ossetia demarcation line, near the village of Karapila, South-Ossetian law enforcers detained two residents of Kaspi municipality.

The "Georgia Online" reported on March 13, citing the Georgian State Security Service (SSS) that the detainees are Alan Margishvili, 35, and Giorgi Chitishvili, 22.

The Georgian "Channel One" has added that the SSS had activated its hotline and informed the European Union mission of observers about the incident.

The young men were noticed in the village in the evening on March 12, after which they disappeared, said Dali Korkomashvili, the PR head of the Kaspi Mayoralty, as the "Accentnews.ge" has reported.
