Lilia Saidova's father reports about his son killed in Syria

Before leaving for Syria, Magomed Saidov finished school as an external student and managed to finish three courses at the Medical and Dental University in Moscow. Parents spent half a year searching for him in Turkey, where he stayed before he got directly into the conflict zone, from where it was reported about his death during a bombing.

Lilia, a Magomed's sister, who was charged with financing militants, transferred money to her younger brother while he was in Turkey, said Sultan Saidov, a father of Magomed and Lilia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 13, 2018, the Cheryomushki District Court of Moscow arrested six natives of Northern Caucasus who were suspected of raising funds to finance militants. Two women, including Madina Baisarova and Lilia Saidova, and four men were arrested.

"Investigators apparently suggest there are components of crime in the Lilia Saidova's actions and will probably continue thinking so," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Suleiman Ibragimov, an advocate of Lilia Saidova, after the court hearing held on March 11. And the advocate continued: "However, they may conclude that her money transfers are not connected with other transfers. Then there would be an opportunity to complete the investigation and take the case to court as soon as possible. After all, my client does not know any of the other defendants in the case. The defence is satisfied with that. Meanwhile, the investigators and operational services may have a goal to present some big grouping and then they will not want to separate individual cases," noted Suleiman Ibragimov.
