NKR counts 200 shelling attacks within a week

In the period from January 27 to February 2, 2019, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan fired over 1300 shots at the positions of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the NKR's Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported on February 2.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 20-26, the NKR's MoD recorded 250 shelling attacks on its positions.

"From January 27 to February 2, the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire regime in the Karabakh conflict zone for about 200 times. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired more than 1300 shots on the Karabakh positions," the MoD of the NKR has reported, noting that the fire was delivered from small firearms.

As of 2:06 p.m. Moscow time on February 2, the Azerbaijani MoD had not posted any comments to the above statement on its website. However, the Azerbaijani party, in its turn, has stated this morning about 24 shelling attacks undertaken within the past 24 hours.
