Attack on law enforcers in Kabardino-Balkaria

According to the official version, on November 29, in the Maiski District of Kabardino-Balkaria, employees of the FSB and Centre "E" wanted to stop a car for checking documents; fire was opened from inside it at law enforcers. A shootout broke out; as a result, three attackers were killed, and one was detained. None of the law enforcers was hurt. Detention of Imam in Makhachkala

On November 26, Nigmatula Radjabov, an Imam of a Makhachkala mosque, was detained at the road-and-patrol service (known as the DPS) post at the entrance to Makhachkala. Policemen stopped the car with the Imam at the "Alaska-10" post. Imam Radjabov later said that law enforcers told him that he was on the preventive record as an extremist and was on the operative wanted list since December 19, 2016. They asked him to explain where he was going and where he lived, to which Radjabov objected, citing the fact that the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) had informed him that no preventive records exist. Then, the Imam was taken to the police station for further investigation. According to his story, for a long time they tried to find out which of the employees had put him on the wanted list, but failed to do it.

Imam Radjabov said that he was released the same day "without drawing up any protocol," he said that he would appeal against law enforcers' actions.
