Casualty of shootout with "Rosgvardia" servicemen in Kuban identified

Investigators have stated that fire at "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) servicemen was opened by a resident of Krasnodar.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on November 29, an unidentified man opened fire on "Rosgvardia" employees. The shooter was killed by return fire; some law enforcers were wounded. On November 30, doctors discharged one of them after rendering medical aid; the other one was operated on; his health condition is assessed as grave.

The attacker was identified as a 36-year-old man, the "Zhivaya Kuban" (Kuban Live) reported on December 2 with reference to the press service of the Investigating Department (ID) for the Krasnodar Territory of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

"He had been living in Krasnodar for a year," the TASS quotes the press service.

The NTV Channel has added in its website that the man had planned the attack on the staff of the "Rosgvardia" well in advance.

All the circumstances and the motive of the crime committed by the man are cleared out, the "Russia.Kuban" TV Company writes on its website with reference to Ivetta Agayan, an assistant to the head of the above ID of the ICRF.
