Azerbaijan reports machine-gun shelling in conflict zone
Positions of Azerbaijani militaries in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 30 times during the last 24 hours, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today.
From the morning of November 19 to the morning of November 20, the ceasefire regime in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated for 25 times; the shelling was delivered from large-calibre machine guns at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the village of Bala Djafarli in Gazakh District, and in the village of Zamanly and on unnamed heights in the Gadabay District, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today on its website. The shelling was delivered both from the territory of Armenia and from the positions "near the occupied villages," the MoD has specified.
By 9:10 a.m. of today, on their official websites, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statement voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
