South-Ossetian armrestler wins two gold medals at World Championships

Soslan Gassiev has won two gold medals in the weight category of 90 kg at the World Armwrestling Championships in Turkey. Athletes from South Ossetia have also won three silver medals.

The Championships are being held in Antalya, Turkey, on October 13-21, and has attracted 1203 athletes from 54 countries of the world.

The three South-Ossetian silver medallists are Arsen Khabalov in the weight category of 65 kg, Milena Doguzova, over 70 kg among women (as reported by the "Res" News Agency) and Batradz Pliev, 80 kg (as reported by the "Sputnik-South Ossetia").
