Social network users call on Ramzan Kadyrov to encourage not only athletes

World boxing champion Arthur Beterbiev and Dagestani fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov got from the authorities of Chechnya Mercedes cars as gifts. Each car was worth at least six million roubles. Users of social network criticized Ramzan Kadyrov for expensive gifts to athletes and called him on to encourage students, doctors, and teachers for their achievements.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 11, the leader of Chechnya congratulated Khabib Nurmagomedov on his victory over Conor McGregor and handed him over the keys to a Mercedes W222 car on behalf of the regional public foundation named after Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov.

On October 14, Chechen boxer Arthur Beterbiev, who defended the world light heavyweight champion (IBF) title on October 6, arrived in Grozny, reported an official from the Ministry of Sports of Chechnya.

"From the bottom of my heart I would like to express my deep and sincere gratitude for the comprehensive support and significant development of sports ... I want to thank ... Akhmat-Khaji Kadyrov, Hero of Russia, for the keys to a prestigious car," Arthur Beterbiev wrote in his Instagram.

Meanwhile, users of social network argued about whether the leader of Chechnya should give gifts to athletes. They called on Ramzan Kadyrov to encourage, for example, winners of school Olympiads.

"Why should they study to become a doctor or a teacher? They receive no gifts," user shsx7650 notes.

"Ramzan, it would be great if you encourage students of schools and universities like athletes," believes 4erniy__.
