Azerbaijan counts 82 shelling episodes within the last 24 hours

The Azeri Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today that during the last 24 hours Azerbaijani positions in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 82 times.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 24, Azerbaijan counted 89 shelling episodes during the past 24 hours; and on September 23 – 96 such episodes. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reported about 250 acts of shelling committed by the Azerbaijani side within the week of September 15-22.

During the last 24 hours, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 83 times; the shelling was conducted on the positions deployed in the villages of Ashagy Askipara, Gyzylgadjyly and Bala Djafarli in the Gazakh District, as well as in the village of Zamanli and on the nameless heights in the Gadabay District, the MoD has reported on its website today.

The machine-gun fire was delivered from the positions located in the territory of Armenia, as well as "near the occupied villages," the MoD has specified.
