CTO regime announced in two Dagestani districts

Law enforcers are holding their special operations in the Buinaksk and Karabudakhkent Districts, which were today put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, the spokesman for the Operative Headquarters in Dagestan of the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) gas stated.

The CTO special legal regime is in force since 5:00 a.m. Moscow time.

"The CTO regime has been introduced in certain areas of the Buinaksk and Karabudakhkent Districts of Dagestan," the "Interfax" quotes the spokesman as saying.

According to the NAC, in the CTO areas, a search for militants and their accomplices is being carried out, the RIA "Novosti" has added.
