Bombings and terror acts

On August 13, in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, law enforcers cordoned off Takho-Godi Street to examine a suspicious object. Teenagers used a magnet to look for a bicycle in the October Revolution Channel, but instead of it, they dragged out an item which looked like a grenade. The teenagers reported their discovery to the police. Staff members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) cordoned off the area where the dangerous item was found, and called combat engineers. On the same day, in Makhachkala, near the village of Tarki, another explosive was found under a stone. A man noticed it and called the police. Fighters from the National Guard of Russia examined the found item and identified it as a grenade launcher round. The found items were brought to the Dagestani MIA.
