Two hideouts with ammunition found in Chechnya and Dagestan

Hideouts with submachine guns and ammunition have been neutralized in the Chechen village of Kalaus and in the Makhachkala settlement of Shamkhal, law enforcers have reported.

They have found a hidden hideout in the Nadterechny District.

"Two Kalashnikov assault rifles with ammunition were hidden in it, as well as an army bayonet-knife," the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported.

It is assumed that the hideout was made by a member of the armed underground from among local residents.

Dagestan policemen found a hideout in the ventilation shaft of an abandoned poultry farm in the Shamkhal settlement, the press service of the North-Caucasian District of the "Natsgvardia" (National Guard) has stated. Sappers neutralized the grenades.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 27, two hideouts with weapons were found in Dagestan; and on July 30, Russian border guards found a hideout with weapons and ammunition in the mountainous Itum-Kalin District of Chechnya.
