Azerbaijan claims machine-gun shelling in Karabakh conflict zone

The ceasefire regime in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated 94 times during a day, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 9, Azerbaijan reported shelling of four villages in the Karabakh conflict zone. In total, on August 8-9, the Azerbaijani MoD counted 83 cases of shelling from Armenia. Earlier, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh has claimed 250 cases of shelling from the Azerbaijani side during a week.

On August 9-10, the Armenian armed forces 94 times violated the ceasefire and used large-calibre machine guns, reports the Azerbaijani MoD on its website.
