Chechen resident suspected of killing a child and attacking his fellow villagers

A resident of the Nozhai-Yurt District of Chechnya killed a child and wounded two men by attacking them with a knife.

According to investigators, on August 8, a 36-year-old resident of the village of Benoi-Vedeno stabbed an eight-year-old son of his fellow villager, who was disliked by him. After that, he went home to two other villagers, whom he had also disliked, and injured them.

The stabbed boy died in the intensive care unit; the men wounded in their abdomens and chests are in hospital. The suspect has been detained; his psychiatric examination has been appointed.
