A reproach against Ramzan Kadyrov shown during President Putin's "Direct Line"

An anonymous message shown on the air during the "Direct Line" with Vladimir Putin on June 7 was related to Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, a relative of the Chechen leader, appointed the chief of the police in Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 8, 2017, Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, a close relative of Ramzan Kadyrov, was appointed the chief of the Grozny Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Prior to his appointment, he worked a little more than a month as the chief of the Drug Control Department of Chechen MIA. According to the information posted on the Chechen MIA's website, Khas-Magomed Kadyrov is Junior Lieutenant.

The message reading: "How Junior Lieutenant could be appointed the police chief in Grozny?" appeared on the screen on the air during the fourth hour of the "Direct Line" with President Putin.

The text of the above message was not read by the programme's presenters and was not commented on by Vladimir Putin.

Ramzan Kadyrov, who commented in his Telegram channel on the "Direct Line" with President Putin, also left the message without attention and praised the format of the programme.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the head of the Grozny police was appointed among other appointments to high posts of people close to the leader of Chechnya. Thus, on May 22, the Kurchaloi District of Chechnya was headed by Khamzat Kadyrov, a 21-year-old nephew of Ramzan Kadyrov.
