Chechen schoolchildren stay at home for summer vacations

About 20,000 schoolchildren will go on vacation to summer camps in the territory of Chechnya. The number of vouchers for spending vacations outside the republic has decreased noticeably. Parents of the schoolchildren, who have visited the Crimea, regret that this year will not be able to send them there.

In Chechnya, the children's summer recreation campaign started on May 25. At the local camps, children will spend two and three weeks, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Development of Chechnya.

This year's campaign will cover 25,000 children; most of whom will have their rest in four camps created in the republic, the Ministry has stated. At the same time, 5000 children will go to Kabardino-Balkaria and the Krasnodar Territory.

The Ministry has explained the fact that the vast majority of Chechen schoolchildren will not go outside the region for their vacations by the presence of modern children's camps in Chechnya.

Parents prefer local children's recreation camps. Those of them, whose children have already gone there, are happy with the organization of recreation.
