Georgian shepherd detained near border with South Ossetia

Law enforcers have detained a 77-year-old resident of Georgia, who was grazing cattle near the border with South Ossetia.

Elizbar Mestumrishvili was detained near the village of Djariasheni of the Gori municipality, the "First Channel" of the Georgian TV reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 17, Georgian citizen Tamaz Iluridze was detained near the border with South Ossetia. His fellow villager Gela Ginashvili said that he was grazing cattle together with Tamaz Iluridze, but managed to escape from armed people who tried to detain him. According to the KGB of South Ossetia, on April 18, Tamaz Iluridze was released after he had paid a fine.
