In Yerevan, number of detained activists reaches 122

According to the Armenian police, organizers of the protests against Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan call on demonstrators to commit unlawful actions in order to provoke clashes with law enforcers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the opponents of Serzh Sargsyan have continued protests in Yerevan.

The police accused the demonstrators of impeding the free movement of citizens and blocking the entrances to state buildings, the "Sputnik Armenia" reports.

122 participants of the protest actions have already been brought to police stations in Yerevan, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The threats to disperse the protests against Serzh Sargsyan were expressed at the time when the President of Armenia signed the law on rapprochement with the European Union.

Earlier, Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the protesters, has stated that provocateurs organize pogroms to give law enforcers an excuse to disperse the protests.
