Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko declares himself a fighter of Kadyrov's Club "Akhmat"

On May 5, in Yekaterinburg, the famous Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko, who has signed a contract with the RCC Boxing Promotions, will fight a Brazilian Gabriel Gonzaga. Emelianenko, known for friendly relations with the head of Chechnya, called the rumours about his quitting the "Akhmat" Club as gossip, stating however that he is a free fighter able to "fight for any organization."

Emelianenko has recorded his video appeal at the background of a poster with a photograph of Kadyrov and symbols of the "Akhmat" Fighting Club.

"I am a fighter of the "Akhmat" Club. "Akhmat" is power!" he said in his video.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in February 2017, Alexander Emelianenko, a Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, signed a contract with the "Ahmat" Fighting Club, owned by Ramzan Kadyrov.

Let us note here, that Alexander, who is a younger brother of the still more famous Fyodor Emelianenko, is a Kadyrov's friend and held friendly fights with him.
