The brother and sister have been in Syria for the past two years.

"We managed to transport them to Turkey, and from there they were taken out by their mother, who flew to Istanbul a day earlier. Now the children are in their own family," an employee of the office of the head and government of Chechnya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to law enforcers their father, a resident of Chechnya, left for Syria in 2015 and joined militants there.
