Owner of Cherkizovo marketplace accused of murder

Investigators suggest that Telman Ismailov, the former owner of the Cherkizovo marketplace, organized the killing of two entrepreneurs in 2016, when Mekhman Kerimov acted as an actual perpetrator. Telman Ismailov is on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia.

According to the investigators, Telman Ismailov developed a plan of the killing together with his brothers Rafik and Vagif Ismailov. On May 15, 2016, Mekhman Kerimov shot and killed two entrepreneurs on Novorizhskoe Shosse in Moscow. Rafik Ismailov took Mekhman Kerimov off the scene of the crime, and then the accomplices helped him escape, reported the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The investigators suggest that the former owner of the Cherkizovo marketplace in Moscow organized the killing of entrepreneurs Vladimir Savkin and Yuri Brylev, the TASS reports with reference to Svetlana Petrenko, the ICRF's spokesperson.

"The materials to organize the international Interpol search for defendant Telman Ismailov have been sent to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation," the ICRF's website reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2015, Telman Ismailov, the former owner of the Cherkizovo marketplace, was declared bankrupt and he was forbidden to leave the country within three years.
