Minor accused of killing Tbilisi schoolboy arrested

The Tbilisi City Court has imprisoned a minor accused of a double murder of teenagers; the second suspect has been arrested in absentia. Today, the police have detained three more people.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1, in a brawl that occurred near a school in Tbilisi, two teenagers were stabbed. One of them died on the way to the hospital, the other was hospitalized in a critical condition and died a day later.

Today, the Tbilisi City Court granted the request of the prosecutor's office on arresting the suspects of committing the double murder; one of them was detained, and the other is still on the wanted list.

The trial was held in behind closed doors, since the case concerns minors.

An uncle of the detained teenager is close to the family of Bidzina Ivanishvili; he is a friend and producer of the former Premier's son, the portal "Presa.ge" reports, according to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Today, at dawn, three adult citizens of Georgia have been detained under the case of the teenagers' brawl, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports.
