Kadyrov's plenipotentiary to Ukraine detained

Ramzan Tsitsulaev, a plenipotentiary of the Chechen leader in Ukraine, who was wanted during the past three years, was detained in the Bryansk Region and sent to Moscow. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement agencies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in November 2014, Ramzan Tsitsulaev, a plenipotentiary of the Chechen leader in Ukraine, became a figurant of a criminal case on major fraud.

The police tried to detain Ramzan Tsitsulaev in a restaurant of the Moscow "Zolotoye Koltso" Hotel. However, his relatives and body guards rendered resistance to law enforcers. Ramzan Tsitsulaev succeeded in leaving the hotel and flying to Chechnya. Meanwhile, his body guards and brother were detained. Later, they were arrested on suspicion of using violence against public officials, and in December, a case under the same article was also instituted against Ramzan Tsitsulaev himself.

Field investigators detained Ramzan Tsitsulaev in the Bryansk Region "after he crossed the border with Ukraine." From Bryansk, he was brought to Moscow and placed to the "Matrosskaya Tishina" SIZO (pre-trial prison), the "Rosbalt" reports today with a reference to a source from the law enforcement agencies.
