Relatives of Rostov plane crash victims demand 10 million US dollars of compensation

The "FlyDubai" airline company should pay compensation to family members of the passengers killed a plane crash in Rostov-on-Don, since the crash happened because of pilots' error. This has been reported today by an advocate. The "FlyDubai" airline company has reported it is ready to provide fair compensation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 19, 2016, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft of the "FlyDubai" airline company crashed when landing at the Rostov airport. All the people on board were killed, including 55 passengers and 7 crew members. A month after the incident, the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) mentioned a pilots' error as the main version of the incident.

Two relatives of the passengers killed in the plane crash filed a lawsuit to a court of the United Arab Emirates claiming compensation from the "FlyDubai" airline company. Each of the plaintiffs demands the compensation in the amount of 10 million US dollars. This has been reported today by Vsevolod Sazonov, an advocate of the plaintiffs.

According to the advocate, the relatives of the killed passengers can demand the compensation from the "FlyDubai" airline company in connection with the conclusion of the IAC, which mentions the pilot's error as the cause of the plane crash.

"Until the above conclusion is not refuted, payment of compensation is mandatory in accordance with international laws and treaties, as well as in accordance with the law of the United Arab Emirates," stated Vsevolod Sazonov as quoted today by the "Interfax".
