Source makes public names of all four detained Dagestanis

Dagestani natives Khidirnabi Kazuev, Samir Ibragimov, Gabibula Khalduzov, and Albert Khasbolatov are detained on the suspicion of involvement in the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia. This has been reported by a source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 13 and 14, four natives of Dagestan were detained in Moscow and Makhachkala. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), they confessed they were plotting terror acts in Dagestan.

Law enforcers have detained 19-year-old Khidirnabi Kazuev, 31-year-old Samir Ibragimov, 30-year-old Gabibula Khalduzov, and Albert Khasbolatov, the "Interfax" reports with reference to a source.

According to the source's information, Khidirnabi Kazuev, Samir Ibragimov and Albert Khasbolatov were detained in Makhachkala, while Gabibula Khalduzov in Moscow.

Field investigators suggest Gabibula Khalduzov was the leader of the IS unit and maintained contact with the militants through a messenger.

All four detainees worked at construction sites in the capital of Dagestan and in early July, they swore allegiance to the leader of the IS through the Internet, noted the source.

During the interrogation, the suspects confessed that they were plotting a terror act at a major event in Makhachkala and an attack with knives on policemen in a park of the Dagestani capital.
