Law enforcers identify men killed in Dagestan

Two persons killed today during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the Shamil District have been identified. This has been reported by an informed source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that tonight, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced in the Shamil District of Dagestan. In a shootout on the outskirts of the Teletl village, law enforcers killed two members of the "Shamil" grouping, involved in murders and extortions, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.

"The killed militants have been preliminary identified as Magomed and Saigidbulat Mirzoev. They were brothers," reported the source as quoted by the "Interfax".

According to the source, the killed men had earlier criminal records under the article on arms trafficking.
