KBR’s villagers to get compensation for damage from CTO

Each of three residents of the village of Yanikoi, whose property was damaged in a counterterrorist operation (CTO), will receive 50,000 roubles. This was reported by Khasan Appoev, the deputy head of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).

On October 13-14, 2016, the CTO legal regime was valid in four villages of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). The National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on three persons killed in the CTO.

The funds for payment of compensation have been allocated from the federal budget, the "Interfax" reports with reference to Khasan Appoev.

The level of damage caused to local residents during the CTO has not been specified.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported on the allocation of money to residents of Nalchik, who partially lost their property during a CTO held on January 15, 2016. In June, each of five residents of the KBR’s capital also got 50,000 roubles.
