Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of shelling Chinari village

On July 20, the Azerbaijani shelling of the village of Chinari in the Tavush District damaged a kindergarten building and resulted in destruction and damage to the local residents' property. A minor avoided the death. This was stated by the Investigating Committee for Armenia.

According to investigators, the shelling took place on July 20, and the damage from it reaches 12 million drams (25,060 US dollars).

A teenager, born in 2000, who was in the cemetery, appeared to be under the shelling. He spent about two hours hiding from bullets behind a gravestone, the "NEWS.am" reports.

On the fact, a criminal case has been instituted in Armenia about the murder and the attempted murder, as well as about the deliberate destruction or damage to property.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) that on July 20, the Azerbaijani positions were shelled from several Armenian villages, including the village of Chinari.
