Vice Prime Minister of North Ossetia suspected of creating a criminal grouping

In North Ossetia, the former deputy chairman of the government has been taken under house arrest in the case of seizure from the property of a factory of real estate object worth about 300 million roubles. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to the police, the arrested person created and headed a grouping engaged in seizure of production facilities and land plots of the factory. Then, real estate objects were sold to affiliated commercial companies at low prices.

"Apart from the former Vice Prime Minister who allegedly acted as an organizer of the grouping, the pre-trial restriction measure in the form of house arrest was also pronounced against his two accomplices," reported the press service of the North-Ossetian MIA as quoted by the "TASS".

A source close to the government of the republic did not rule out that the suspected person was Valentin Bazrov, who held the position of the Minister for Industry, Transport, Construction and Road Facilities.
