Relatives report on kidnapping of Vladimir Region resident in Dagestan

Sharip Zaipullaev, a resident of the town of Kovrov, born in 1980, disappeared in Dagestan, where he came to visit his relatives. From eyewitnesses, his family members have learned that Sharip Zaipullaev was taken away by people in masks who arrived in cars without state registration numbers.

The Sharip Zaipullaev's mother has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that her son with his family members came to celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Fitr and disappeared on July 4.

"Sharip left the village of Ameterkmakhi for the neighbouring village of Tarli. He arrived there, but did not return. According to eyewitnesses, his car was caught up by cars without state registration numbers and blocked. People in masks and in civilian clothes came out of those cars and took him away to some unknown destination. Till present, his whereabouts is unknown," the mother of the disappeared man reported in the evening on July 6.

The woman has also noted that her son had never been detained earlier and that he was not put on police prevention registration lists. The woman has appealed to the Akusha ROVD (District Interior Division), but there she was assured that Sharip Zaipullaev had not been detained.
